⚠️ Civilian Casualties

📝 Notes

Afghanistan was the most heavily droned country. Under Trump, drone strikes nearly tripled compared to Obama. The last US drone strike in Afghanistan killed 10 civilians including 7 children (Zemari Ahmadi family, Aug 29, 2021).

🔥 Controversies

The Zemari Ahmadi strike killed an aid worker and his family, initially called a "righteous strike" by Pentagon, later admitted as a "tragic mistake." No one was disciplined.
